Scientific Interests:

  1. Laser physics: distributed feedback lasers; Raman lasers;laser generation in fluctuating media.
  2. Nonlinear optics: optical susceptibility of liquid crystals; soliton propagation; space dispersion of nonlinear susceptibility; mechanisms of nonlinear scattering in liquids; nonlinear light scattering with low frequency shift.
  3. Nonlinear acoustics: self-action of ultrasonic beams in viscous liquids; biological and medical applications of nonlinear acoustic effects.
  4. Phase transitions: noise- and light-induced transitions in liquids; transitions between the ice structures; kinetics of biological and economic populations.
  5. Remote sensing: signal transmitting in inhomogeneous natural media.
